Individual Fullbore Target Rifle Rankings
About the World Target Rifle Rankings
The World Target Rifle Rankings are an independent world ranking for individual fullbore Target Rifle, published by the World Target Rifle Association.
What the rankings cover
Loading…
Every competitor in the published full results is included, not only those who won a prize. A prize list is a list of prize winners rather than a score ranking, so it is not a reliable picture of who finished where — the rankings are built from the full results throughout.
How the rankings work
The World Target Rifle Rankings are a prestige, “world #1”-style list, not a qualifying or eligibility system. There is no minimum number of events required to appear — the list is deliberately inclusive — but the scoring is built so that one outstanding result can't vault someone to the top on its own. A ranking reflects sustained good results across competitions and years.
Competition tiers
Every competition is weighted by prestige.
Points per result
Each result earns points based on where you finished relative to the size of that competition's field — finishing 10th in a field of 700 counts for more than finishing 10th in a field of 50.

Where the data comes from
Results are taken from the full results published by the National Rifle Association for the Imperial Meeting at Bisley. Competitor identities are reconciled against the NRA’s TRID register.
These rankings are independent. They are not produced, endorsed or approved by the NRA, and no affiliation is implied. The underlying results are the NRA’s published record; the ranking method, and any error in it, is ours.
Corrections
If something here is wrong — a misspelled name, the wrong country, a result attributed to the wrong person, or a missing entry — please say so and it will be put right. Competitors sharing initials and a surname are the usual cause, and the results themselves sometimes print a name differently from one year to the next.
Your information
This site publishes competitors’ names, countries, finishing positions and scores, all of it taken from results the NRA has already published, together with a ranking calculated from them. Nothing here is collected from competitors directly.
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and tracks no visitors. There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to, and no third parties are involved at all — every file the page loads, the typeface included, is served from this one domain, so no other company sees that you visited.
To have your entry corrected, or to ask that it be removed, use the correction address above. A removal request will be honoured; it will leave a gap in the rankings rather than renumbering everyone around you, and it cannot alter the NRA’s own published results, which are not ours to change.
Validation
The original project's 8-point data-integrity checklist plus a 9th added later. Most are structurally guaranteed by the database and would only ever fire if something were edited outside the app; the tie-sequence, stale-review-item, and alias-shadows-exact-match checks are the three that actually catch real parsing/workflow mistakes. This also runs automatically after every ingest, review-queue resolution, and result edit/delete -- not just when you click "Run checks" here.
